Music
- Northeast Kingdom Music Festival The Northeast Kingdom Music Festival is a grassroots, independent, family-friendly by day and off the hook party by night festival featuring Roots and Rythym oriented music in eclectic categories. Held on the beautiful and pastoral private Chilly Ranch in East Albany, Vermont, the festival takes place the first full weekend in August annually.

- Free Ride Montpelier Provides affordable used bikes and community-wide access to the tools, skills and information necessary for bike maintenance and safe riding. Freeride is nonprofit, and completely volunteer-run.

- Black Sheep Books Located above the Cafe, Black Sheep is an all-volunteer workers' collective specializing in radical and scholarly used books. Check out our events calandar to find out about the next radical presentation, debate, or film they're hosting at the Cafe.
- Yoga Mountain Center Montpelier's premier community-oriented yoga studio, known for high-quality instruction, small classes, and skillful, individualized attention given to each student. Offering classes seven days a week with 10 Certified Teachers on Staff.
Politics
- Collectives A great description of what a collective is. This is taken from Red Emma's website, a collectively run bookstore and coffeehouse in Baltimore.
- VT Workers' Center A democratic, member-run organization dedicated to organizing for workers' rights and living wages for all Vermonters. They seek an economically just and democratic Vermont in which all residents have living wages, decent health care, childcare, housing and transportation.
- U.S. Federation of Worker Cooperatives The United States Federation of Worker Cooperatives is a national grassroots membership organization of and for worker cooperatives, other democratic workplaces, and the organizations which support the growth and continued development of worker cooperatives.
- Northeastern Federation of Anarchist-Communists NEFAC is a bi-lingual (French and English) organization of revolutionaries from the northeastern region of North America who identify with the communist tradition within anarchism. They oppose all forms of oppression and exploitation, and struggle for a classless, stateless, non-hierarchical society.
